The RHH Research Foundation offers a range of grants to support local health and medical research with the potential for benefit to the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians, and with a focus on those diseases and conditions most relevant to the Tasmanian community.

Across its various funding categories, the Foundation has made provision to invest over $600k in local health and medical research during 2017, including:

  • A pool of $40,000 for Starter/Incubator (formerly Starter) Grants of up to $10K, more info;
  • A pool of up to $110,000, for Minor Project (formerly Establishment) Grants up to $25K each, more info;
  • A Major Project (formerly Project) Grant not exceeding $450k (GST exclusive) over three years, to be allocated on the basis of $150k pa (+/- 20% each year), more info.
