Grants
ANNUAL FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
The RHH Research Foundation offers a range of grants to support local health and medical research with the potential for benefit to the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians, and with a focus on those diseases and conditions relevant to the Tasmanian community.
Across its various funding categories, the Foundation has made provision to invest a further $800,000 into local health and medical research during the coming year, including:
- A pool of approx. $40,000 for Incubator Grants of up to $10,000 each
- A pool of approx. $110,000 for Project Grants up to $25,000 each
- A Major Project Grant not exceeding $450k (ex gst) over three years, to be allocated on the basis of $150k pa (+/- 20% each year)
- The Lowenthal-Muller Grant for Translational Research, (a one-off grant offered in 2023) not exceeding $200k (ex gst) over two years, to be allocated on the basis of $100k pa (+/- 20% each year

Incubator Grants
