Hunt at Home for Local Medical Research

THANK YOU for Hunting at Home for Medical Research in 2020!

We can’t hunt with you, but we can’t raise funds for medical research without you!

What do I need to know ?

What is it about ?
Hunt at Home 2020 means you can purchase Easter Packs supporting local medical research this Easter. Either Hunt at Home with your family or why not purchase for some friends or family with children at home and leave the pack on their doorstep?

How much does it cost ?
$20 in designated stores only from Thursday 2 April. You cannot purchase online.

What’s in my pack?
Approx 70-80 Cadbury hunting eggs and a letter from us ;-) We also have some free downloadable activities!

Where can I buy my pack?
Our wonderful partners at Salamanca Fresh (Salamanca, Kingston, Davey St, King St, Lenah Valley, Bellerive and Huonville) will have packs available at their stores as well as Ziggy’s Supreme Smallgoods in Moonah from Thursday 2 April. They also offer deliveries, so give them a call or send them an email to find out more.

A message from our RHHRF CEO
and the Easter Bunny

In these challenging times, the team at the RHH Research Foundation and local medical researchers simply can’t thank you enough for showing support by choosing to Hunt at Home!

We know you share our disappointment that Tassie’s largest Easter Egg Hunt and Family Picnic Day in the Botanical Gardens could not proceed for its eighth year, but with enduring support from Cadbury and Salamanca Fresh, we’re really eggs-cited to be able to keep up a much-loved tradition for so many across our community.

As we take time to connect with family, we hope you will enjoy picking up on some of the at-home hunting and fun activities to keep young ones entertained. We’ll even be sharing clips with our researchers showing science experiments your family can enjoy from home. Hop onto Facebook – who knows, you might discover the next generation of medical researchers who can help to keep our community healthy in years to come!

While there is so much uncertainty around us, your support for local medical research means more now than ever. The uncertainty we’re feeling around COVID-19 is often shared by loved ones – family members, friends, people in our community – when they’re first diagnosed with a medical condition that may change the shape of life to come. The RHHRF has been working for over 20 years to help ease that uncertainty – seeking to understand more about so many conditions experienced by those we love – seeking to find cures and to develop better ways to provide clinical care when it’s needed most. I know many in our community share my thanks for your support.

We have outstanding clinicians and researchers who are eager to do more to help keep us healthy and well. But we can’t help them without your support. We can’t do it with you (hunting for eggs in the Gardens in 2020), but we can’t do it without you (investing in our future health)!

So thank you, your support genuinely means so much.
Have a happy and safe Easter.
