The Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation is 25 this year and we hope you can join us for a festive morning to celebrate!
Our Big December Breakfast is back and we are looking forward to welcoming Gerrard Gosens, Paralympian and adventurer to Hobart to share his story with us.
Gerrard is an inspirational three-time Paralympian who is congenitally blind and became Australia's youngest guide dog recipient at the age of 16. He has climbed Mt Everest, co-piloted an ultra-light motor glider around Queensland three times, and run the 2000kms from Cairns to Brisbane for charity five times! He was the first contestant with a visual impairment to appear on 'Dancing with the stars' and has raised over $2 million in services and funds for the 120,000 blind people in Australia. He is an incredible man with a wonderful story to tell, and we can't wait to hear him share it with us.
With entertainment, a delicious hot breakfast, and lots of fun fundraising activities, our Big December Breakfast is the ideal way to herald the arrival of Christmas. We hope to see you there!
Ticket sales close at 5 pm Wednesday 7 December
