The Foundation is thrilled to herald the start of our 2018 fundraising calendar with Tasmania’s largest International Women’s Day event, our International Women’s Day Breakfast. This iconic event fills Wrest Point’s Tasman Room to capacity, with over 600 guests joining together to celebrate the impact of women and girls in so many roles across our community.
For 2018 we will be featuring a panel discussion with key Tasmanian women from a range of expertise and vocations, with the theme ‘Women shaping our future’.
Our confirmed panellists are:
- Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Kate Warner AC Governor of Tasmania
- Alison Venn, Director, Menzies Institute for Medical Research
- Melissa Carlton, CEO, YMCA Hobart and Paralympian
- Hosted by Jo Palmer from Southern Cross Nightly News
